I devoured this book in one sitting! It was captivating. The first two chapters I was cheering on Charlotte as she dealt with her ex husband. She was brilliant and he deserved exactly what happened! Charlotte was a fantastic character overall. Professional, intelligent, accomplished, and successful. She packs up and follows her dream of moving to London to be near her best friend Louise and a new job.
In the airport upon arrival, she meets Rhys, and then keeps running into him around town. They eventually start dating.
I will say that I figured out who Rhys was pretty early on in the book but the reveal was much better than I expected. Louise wasn’t the stereotypical sidekick best friend, and Michael was a nice new friend addition as well. I am hoping he and Connor get their own stories as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hated to have it end! I hope we get more of these characters in the future.
